If you’re in need of inspiration, it’s a great idea to review the social media profiles of your competitors or those in complimentary spaces who are also engaging with your market.
Your Doer is trained in researching and finding inspiration, angles and ideas that you can go on to use when designing your own social media plan.
TO BRIEF YOUR DOER:
- If you're utilising the Project Management Tool; *Basecamp, add this as a task to your project's To Do's
- You'll need to describe the task. We'd recommend 'Research and Document Social Themes/Content Ideas: SM0013'
- Assign the To-Do to your Doer
- Set a Due Date
- Add notes:
- You can provide your Doer with this URL in order to provide them with context on the task
- Advise your Doer of any competitors or complementary business that your Doer can use as a starting point to gather inspiration, themes and ideas
- Let them know which socials you'll be posting on (should your Doer be targeting their research towards LinkedIn or Instagram for example)
- Let your Doer know where you would like these themes and ideas to be recorded... for instance would you like this collated in to a file/folder in your shared drive and linked on Basecamp?
- Add in any other notes or requirements you may have that might be relevant to the task
- Don't assume - particularly if you're just starting out with your Doer it's always best to provide as much information as possible.
- If you have extensive notes, we'd recommend recording a Loom.
