Set Up Nurture: 30 Day Indoctrination
Estimated Time of Completion: 12 hours
As your business grows, your biggest opportunity for growth as a The Founder is in emailing the prospects on your list frequently with value, hot tips, training and of course offers.
The best way to email your prospects is to create an indoctrination nurture.
This email nurture can be set up in your CRM to automatically move people through a series of training and promotions in sequential order.
So rather than just sending everyone the same message, you can send them a message that suits them for the stage that individual is at in their relationship with you.
You can ask your Doer to set-up this indoctrination nurture for you so you can simply add in the email copy and slowly build it out to be longer and longer.
We’ve now got up to 100 days in our indoctrination nurture and it’s been incredibly profitable with great feedback too.
TO BRIEF YOUR DOER:
- If you're utilising the Project Management Tool; *Basecamp, add this as a task to your project's To Do's
- You'll need to describe the task. We'd recommend 'Set-up 30 Day Indoctrination Nurture in [Your CRM]: EM0012'
- Assign the To-Do to your Doer
- Set a Due Date
- Add notes:
- You can provide your Doer with this URL in order to provide them with context on the task
- Ensure that your Doer has access to the CRM where they'll be building this email nurture (eg. Infusionsoft, MailChimp, Active Campaign)
- Let your Doer know the name of the indoctrination
- Advise your Doer on whether this a new campaign or if it needs to be built in to an existing campaign. If existing, ensure you specify the campaign
- Provide your Doer with the overall flow of the nurture (start to finish - this will help them see the overall structure you are looking for)
- Ensure your Doer knows how many emails you would like to be sent within the 30 day indoctrination
- Link your Doer to the email copy you have written for each of the emails
- Add in any other notes or requirements you have that might be relevant to the task
- Don't assume - particularly if you're just starting out with your Doer it's always best to provide as much information as possible.
- If you have extensive notes, we'd recommend recording a Loom.
