Set Up Nurture: Pre Consult

Estimated Time of Completion: 8 hours

If you’re hosting consults with your prospects and using sales calls to close high-ticket sales in your business, one of the most important steps is nurturing people from the time they book their consult, right through to when you jump on the phone or on an online Zoom call.

You see, most business owners think that once the prospect has booked a time on their online calendar, the job is done until they connect in the consult itself... Not true.

The most underestimated sales stage for a prospect is once they’ve booked the consult and before they show up.

A solid pre-consult nurture will drop your no-shows and increase your conversion rates as they learn to know, like and trust you even before they get in the call.

TO BRIEF YOUR DOER:
  • If you're utilising the Project Management Tool; *Basecamp, add this as a task to your project's To Do's
    • You'll need to describe the task. We'd recommend 'Set Up Pre Consult Nurture in [your CRM]: EM0018'
    • Assign the To-Do to your Doer
    • Set a Due Date
    • Add notes:
      • You can provide your Doer with this URL in order to provide them with context on the task
      • Ensure that your Doer has access to your CRM (eg. Infusionsoft, Active Campaign, Mailchimp)
      • Ensure your Doer also has access to your scheduling platform (we use ScheduleOnce at Outsourced Doers but also recommend Calendly and Acuity)
      • Advise your Doer on whether this a new campaign or if it needs to be built in to an existing campaign. If existing, ensure you specify the campaign
      • Provide your Doer with a link to where they can access the email copy for the nurture
      • Advise how many emails you would like to be sent within the pre consult nurture and for how many days you'd like it to run for
      • Add in any other notes or requirements that might be relevant to the task
      • Don't assume - particularly if you're just starting out with your Doer it's always best to provide as much information as possible.
      • If you have extensive notes, we'd recommend recording a Loom.
