Set Up Nexus & Stripe in infusionsoft

Estimated Time of Completion: 4 hours

Did you know that if you’re using Stripe and Infusionsoft, they can be connected to ensure that all payments put through Infusionsoft are automatically processed by Stripe and transferred to your bank account.

There is an integration called Nexus Merchants that makes Stripe and Infusionsoft talk to each other automatically and we’ve been using it here for many years to get our hands off the keyboard. This means that you get to stay in Infusionsoft and just charge cards and process payments, and the card details will be automatically sent to stripe, processed and then Infusionsoft is advised if the payment was successfully – all in about half a second of course!

As a result, we haven’t had to go into our Stripe account in years, and it all happens automatically in Infusionsoft. Plus, we didn’t have to complete lengthy bank paperwork or cross our fingers and hope to get approved for merchant banking – you can set-up in Stripe in a couple of minutes and approval is guaranteed.

You can get this integration set-up by your Doer and avoid the complex tech steps yourself. Once it’s done, it’s done and you can just spend time in Infusionsoft moving forward knowing that the payments are being processed by Stripe and deposited into your bank account.

TO BRIEF:

  • Provide your Doer with access to both your Infusionsoft and Nexus accounts
  • If you're utilising the Project Management Tool; *Basecamp, add this as a task to your project's To Do's
    • You'll need to describe the task. We'd recommend 'Set Up Nexus & Stripe In Infusionsoft: OTT0021'
    • Assign the To Do to your Doer
    • Set a Due Date
    • Add notes: You can provide your Doer with this URL in order to provide them with context on the task. Add in any other notes or requirements that might be relevant. Don't assume - particularly if you're just starting out with your Doer it's always best to provide as much information as possible.
    • If you have extensive notes, we'd recommend recording a Loom.
