Edit Course/Sales Videos
Estimated Time of Completion: 8 hours
If you’ve been busy in the video filming or have a day in the studio on your upcoming schedule, your Doer can assist in taking those raw files you capture, editing them and exporting them into quality, professional video files.
One of the most annoying parts of video editing is that most editing platforms live on your computer, which limits how much access you have to look at drafts of the work and require you to share massive files online, slowing down the process.
Your Doer has been trained in WeVideo which is an online video editing platform that ensures you can jump in and check out draft videos to provide feedback, and even upload your raw footage directly from your end for immediate access for your Doer.
Like design in this day and age, having heavy animations or words flying over the screen or overly engineered filters simply distracts the viewer from the content so your Doer will create clean, well-cut, minimalist videos like we do here at Outsourced Doers and in our other coaching business, The Doers Way.
Your Doer also has access to training in Adobe Premiere Pro for more advanced editing. If you'd like them to utilise another tool, that's not a problem! Your Doer can learn the ropes on any video editing software you wish (providing you grant access and that the video is PC-friendly)
TO BRIEF YOUR DOER:
- If you're utilising the Project Management Tool; *Basecamp, add this as a task to your project's To Do's
- You'll need to describe the task. We'd recommend 'Edit Course/Sales Videos: OCP0011'
- Assign the To-Do to your Doer
- Set a Due Date
- Add notes:
- You can provide your Doer with this URL in order to provide them with context on the task
- Give your Doer a link to the video(s) you would like edited
- Let your Doer know if you have any specific editing requirements (eg. music you would like overlaid, parts you would like chopped, logos/titles you would like added)
- If you'd like your Doer to add music, check out our list of approved backing tracks here and provide your Doer with the name/link to your preferred track
- Add in any other notes or requirements you have that might be relevant to the task
- Don't assume - particularly if you're just starting out with your Doer it's always best to provide as much information as possible.
- If you have extensive notes, we'd recommend recording a Loom.
