Set Up New Course, Modules & Lessons

Every online course has a series of modules and lessons within it and your Doer can set-up your online portal with your course, modules and lesson names. 

You simply need to let your Doer know how you want your course outline to flow and the best way to do this is to give them a Production Schedule.

So if this is your first, let’s have a look at how to complete a Production Schedule that you can share with your Doer so they can start populating your online course.

TO BRIEF YOUR DOER:

• If you're utilising the Project Management Tool; *Basecamp, add this as a task to your project's To Do's
  • You'll need to describe the task. We'd recommend 'Set Up New Course, Modules & Lessons: OCP0014'
  • Assign the To Do to your Doer
  • Set a Due Date
  • Add notes: 
    • You can provide your Doer with this URL in order to provide them with context on the task
    • Provide your Doer with access to your portal, including a link and relevant logins
    • Advise how many courses you'd like your Doer to create
    • List the name of the course(s)
    • In order to quickly and accurately set-up new courses, it's best to create a new Production Schedule for each course. You can download a Production Schedule HERE and share it with your Doer
    • Add in any other notes or requirements that might be relevant
    • Don't assume - particularly if you're just starting out with your Doer it's always best to provide as much information as possible. If you have extensive notes, we'd recommend recording a Loom.
