Set-up Calendar

Estimated Time of Completion: 4 hours

If you’re running online consults and having your prospects or customers book online automatically, there are some great tools available to make it streamlined, easy to use and really automated. Our favourite and the one that we personally use in our business is ScheduleOnce.

The reason why we believe it’s so much better than it’s competitors is the functionality it lets you have like “make me look busy”, buffer times between calls, the ability for users to book in their time zone, easy integration with Google, iCal and other calendars, integration with Infusionsoft for automated pre and post-call nurtures, and much more.

Long story short, your business won’t ever outgrow Schedule Once. It super features rich but as it’s the best and automates the most, it is the most expensive.

Not using ScheduleOnce? Not a problem... We also recommend Calendly and Acuity and have training resources available to Doers for these platforms too.

No matter the scheduling software, your Doer will be able to assist you in setting up your calendar.

TO BRIEF YOUR DOER:

  • If you're utilising the Project Management Tool; *Basecamp, add this as a task to your project's To Do's
    • You'll need to describe the task. We'd recommend 'Set-up Calendar: OAS0010'
    • Assign the To-Do to your Doer
    • Set a Due Date
    • Add notes:
      • You can provide your Doer with this URL in order to provide them with context on the task
      • Advise your Doer of your availability windows/times to be made available e.g. calls available 9 am - 5 pm
      • Let them know your preferred time buffer eg. do you want 15 minute breaks between each call?
      • Let your Doer know the title of the calendar, the email address to attach and the location of the call meeting, e.g. Zoom or Skype.
      • Add in any other notes, copy or requirements that might be relevant
      • Don't assume - particularly if you're just starting out with your Doer it's always best to provide as much information as possible. If you have extensive notes, we'd recommend recording a Loom
