Respond to & Moderate Comments on Social Media
Estimated Time of Completion: 1 hour
Disclaimer: depends on the number of comments.
The more we engage with our comments on our social media platforms, the more engagement you’ll receive and the more relationships you’ll be able to build with prospective customers.
Your Doer is able to respond to social media comments on your behalf so that you can avoid wasting time on Facebook or Instagram.
TO BRIEF YOUR DOER:
- If you're utilising the Project Management Tool; *Basecamp, add this as a task to your project's To Do's
- You'll need to describe the task. We'd recommend 'Respond to and Moderate Comments on Social Media: SM0020'
- Assign the To-Do to your Doer
- Set a Due Date
- Add notes:
- You can provide your Doer with this URL in order to provide them with context on the task
- Let your Doer know which social platforms you would like to moderate (eg. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Ensure your Doer has access the platform(s) you'd like them to moderate
- Let your Doer how often would you like them to check-in (eg. hourly, daily, weekly)
- We'd also recommend providing your Doer with 20 social media examples showing how you'd respond to each, so that they gain an understanding of your tone and are more informed on the answers. If you have collated an FAQs doc, you could also link this to your Doer so they already have answers to some of the most commonly asked questions on hand. This is particularly helpful if your Doer is just starting out with you and still in the process of learning about your business.
- If you have any do's or don'ts, ensure you provide them here.
- To really ensure your tone of voice is being conveyed, we'd recommend putting together a list of phrases that you commonly use and phrases/words that you'd like left out. (eg. Grace likes to use 'lovely', 'darl' and 'crikey')
- Add in any other notes, copy or requirements that might be relevant
- Don't assume - particularly if you're just starting out with your Doer it's always best to provide as much information as possible.
- If you have extensive notes, we'd recommend recording a Loom.
