Request Transcriptions for Social Media Videos

With the majority of people watching social media videos without the sound, it’s very important to add subtitles to your videos before posting them.  

Your Doer can arrange the ordering of transcriptions so that they can then be posted with the video and ensure your audience are engaged. 

Just give them the videos and your Doer will take care of the rest.

TO BRIEF YOUR DOER:

• If you're utilising the Project Management Tool; *Basecamp, add this as a task to your project's To Do's
  •  You'll need to describe the task. We'd recommend 'Request Transcriptions for Social Videos: SM0025'
  • Assign the To-Do to your Doer
  • Set Due Date
  • Add notes:
    • You can provide your Doer with this URL in order to provide them with context on the task. 
    • Provide the link or the folder where the videos you need transcribing are located. We recommend to have it as a Google Drive or Dropbox and then link to it from your Basecamp documents.
    • You will need to let your Doer know where would you like the transcription added once done. E.g. Wistia, Facebook Ads Manager account, Vimeo, etc and ensure that they have user access for these accounts. 
    • Don't assume - particularly if you're just starting out with your Doer it's always best to provide as much information as possible. If you have extensive notes, we'd recommend recording a Loom.
